Laser cutting has good cutting quality, narrow cutting width (generally 0.1-0.5m m), high accuracy (generally 0.1-0.4mm hole center distance error, 0.1-0.5mm contour dimension error), good surface roughness (generally Ra is 12.5-25μm), and the grade A204 Gr.B sheet cutting seam can be welded without further processing. Fast cutting speed: for example, with 2kW laser power, the cutting speed of 8mm thick carbon steel is 1.6m/min.

Nuclear power steels generally use rare alloy steels with strong radiation resistance. The surface of the grade A204 Gr.B sheet cold-rolled steel sheet is processed very delicately in the form of matt finish rolling (pear skin processing) and bright finish rolling due to the cooperation of cold rolling and quenched and tempered rolling. The surface of the hot-rolled steel sheet used in ordinary processing is in the state of pickling the oxide scale generated during hot rolling, so it is rough and does not have the uniform state of the grade A204 Gr.B sheet cold-rolled steel sheet.
